With a bounty of vinyl and digital single releases, 2 full length albums and remixes for artists such as Swayzak, Orlando Voorn, John Beltran, DJ 3000, DJ Bone, Jaun Atkins, Gerald Mitchell etc. Rennie Foster has established himself over the past decade as one of the most recognizable Canadian names in underground dance music.

He has worked with legendary labels such as F-Communications, Synewave, Monoid, Motech and Subject Detroit amongst many others and is championed as a true groundbreaker by industry legends like Derrick May, Laurent Garnier and Sasha.

His latest album "Blood Sugar" on leading Italian label Rebirth features the monster club hit "Devil's Water" that has been remixed by such artists as James Zabiela, The Youngsters and Kiki as well as licensed and charted by DJs like James Holden, Trentmoller, Dave Seaman and Pete Tong.

The album also features collaborations with artist Moka Only of Swollen Members fame, and the recently departed Detroit legend Aaron Carl. Remixes of this album were released April 2011 featuring Samuel L. Session, members of Cobblestone Jazz, Jay Shepheard, Iron Curtis and DJ Yellow amongst others. The Samuel Session remix of "Connect Like Four" quickly became the most charted track on Resident Advisor for April and made several other significant charts and playlists.

Rennie is currently running 2 labels, the digital imprint "Dirty Works" and the vinyl based label "RF Recordings" featuring artists such as Kaito (Hiroshi Watanabe) and former Trapez artist Shane Berry alongside remixers such as Mark Broom, Jamie Anderson and Raudive. Currently Rennie is working with many labels including Greta Cottage Workshop UK and Klik Records as well as continuing to release on Rebirth and others.

Rennie recently returned to Canada after living in Tokyo, Japan for 7 years where he reached LOUD Magazine's top 50 DJs in Japan ranking 3 years in a row, a rare event for a foreigner. He released several Japan Only productions, including the CD "Soul Music for the Damned" that first introduced the "Devil's Water" phenomenon.

Rennie has also toured extensively playing all over Japan, Europe, especially France and Belgium, as well as New York City. Rennie Foster is a former DMC judge, an active member of the Universal Zulu Nation and is currently sponsored by Vestax for the TR-1 controller and Oyaide cables.

Rennie has received favourable press in Mixmag, DJ Magazine, Mixer, XLR8R, URB, Freeze (Greece), Trax (France), LOUD, Floor, Remix, Club Juice, Posivision (Japan) and many other high profile publications world wide.

As well as maintaining a prolific role in the dance music industry, Rennie works as an A&R rep for macprovideo.com and raises twin daughters on his own as a dedicated single father.
